What is an Eco-School?

The Eco-Schools Programme is a pupil-led project, involving hands-on learning that gets the whole school and the wider community involved in exciting environmental projects.  The programme's greatest achievement is the fact that it nurtures environmentally conscious people.  Through this programme our children will carry the behavioural patterns they learn throughout their lives, influencing others with the habits that make a difference.

We are very proud to have been awarded the Eco School's Green Flag twice in 4 years, with a special Distinction award! 

We are also very proud to be the Waste Award Winner of the year in the UK for our continuous efforts to reduce waste.

Eco School's Green Flag Award 2020

We started the journey to become an International Eco School in September 2019. We were awarded with the Green Flag in July 2020. This was only the beginning of a very exciting and busy time to make our school more sustainable and to equip our children with green skills for the future.
