Otters Class runs every morning for children from Year 2 to 5. All lessons are planned by Mrs Hearne-Reed (SENDCo). There is a total of 2 adults in the room to support the children. The first half of the morning is run by Mrs Hearne-Reed with an LSA. After break time, the 2 LSAs lead the group.

Children will return to their mainstream classrooms for afternoon lessons, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum. If children have PE, Spanish or Drumming sessions in the mornings, they will also attend those. 

The aim of Otters Class is to create a supportive environment where learning can be more person-centred and tailored to meet the learning styles of individual children.
