Finance Officer
Salary: Grade 4 – spine point 8-10 (£28,272-£29,139 Pro rata)
Contract: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-2.30pm (25 hours paid per week, half hour unpaid lunch break), including staff training days
Term time only, plus 2 weeks
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Officer to work in our busy office.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Undertaking all relevant work with regard to the day to day financial aspects of the school, such as ordering, invoicing, recording and processing all funding and income
- Maintaining accurate records and producing reports
- Monitoring and reconciling bank statements.
We are looking for a Finance Officer who has:
- Recognised business/finance qualifications
- A high level of personal organisation
- Excellent English/Mathematics skills
- Effective use of specialist ICT packages, e.g. Sims FMS6, Parentpay, Microsoft Office
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- An understanding of the financial functions and duties of a locally managed school
