Learning Support Assistant

We require a Learning Support Assistant to work in our diverse, caring and popular three form entry community school.

We are looking for a creative, motivated and excellent Learning Support Assistant who would relish the opportunity to join our innovative, inclusive team.

Applicants are required to demonstrate:

  • previous experience working with primary age children and a willingness to work across the school;
  • good Literacy and Numeracy skills, relevant NVQ Level 2 qualifications or equivalent;
  • the ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities within a classroom and a school;
  • strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, reflective and with a willingness to improve their practice;
  • able to build strong working relationships with all members of the school community.

The position also includes lunchtime supervision

Starting date:

1st September 2022


Permanent Part-Time - term time only (31.25 hours) 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday, 45-minute unpaid break


Grade 2 (spine point 3-5) (full time £21,408-£22,185) pro rata
